The property formerly the Ballroom Discotheque was acquired by our Clients and immediately transferred into a City Venue, although solely a Club and as such named Velocity.

Velocity is a hybrid development of the City Design concept, which incorporates Bar, Restaurant and Leisure spaces.

The Club is accessed via Carnagie Drive with the Entrance, Foyer and Cloakrooms located at access level. The Club is accessed up a single flight of stairs into an atrium space.

The design brief was to create a layout with movement and interaction between areas, which would be stepped and have multi floor levels.

Each space was considered and remodelled to create an interior evoking quality with extensive use of contemporary furnishings and finishes.

Dark wood floor finishes were extended with new wall and surface finishes throughout. The scheme accommodated minor yet important design changes creating a feel of intimacy, yet retaining visual contact between areas and levels.

The Phase II plan of the Club is to create an extended Club/Bar operation, to incorporate our Client owned adjoining Bar in the near future.
