The Tudor Hotel sitting on North Street, St Andrews was purchased by Kingdom Hotels Ltd in 2005. The Hotel has been a central part of the social network of the town for over a century.

The hotel sits within the heart of historic St Andrews, within the medieval quarter of the town.

The venue is the start for many of the walking tours around the historic town.

The design brief involved the creation of a mix of contemporary Bar and Restaurant along with the Hotel which is woven together from the existing structure of the Tudor Inn.

The dilapidated building was opened up with the Reception located to the front of the building fronting South Street.

The bar offers the welcome and reception. The servicing areas are located to the middle and rear of the building at ground floor level. A new lift and access stair provide access to the upper floors where the decaying building was reconstructed to provide 20 bedrooms, all en-suite. The majority of the rooms are overlooking the main adjacent street elevations.

The use of contemporary colours and glazing elements create a quiet ambiance with the background of neutral floor finishes and tiling producing a design which is light and airy.

The bedroom interiors are a reflection of the Bar/Restaurant areas being modern and bright with beutral materials and furnishings.
