The project followed the acquisition of the existing Restaurant and Bar facility which existed on the site, formerly the ‘Snooty Fox’.

The site lies to the North of Glenrothes and is conveniently situated between the A92 carriageway which is the main North/South arterial road between Dundee and Kirkcaldy/Dunfermline. The Hotel is accessed from Kirkmichael Road/Huntsman Road which lie just off the carriageway.

The site was considered to be in a suitable location to offer quality overnight accommodation at affordable rates, including facilities for conference and functions.

The development consisted of (2) phases.

The creation of a 19 bed hotel with reception, bar/restaurant and office accommodation.

The existing bar operation was the subject of an interior design scheme transforming the space from a Bar Area to a quality Bar Restaurant facility.

The design involved the creation of a Function Room and Conference room located on the ground floor level clear of structural elements to offer capability for all types of function.

The upper floors contain the bedroom accommodation styled and managed to cater for the Tourism and business quests alike.

An external terrace was created with an enlarged car park providing a south east facing vista which compliments the interior.
